Stuffed Flank Steak: (Simple and easy, yet undeniably good)
Ingredients:
1 USDA Prime Flank steak from local butchers or grocery deli area.
1 box of Stovetop Traditional sage stuffing
2 Pinches of salt
1 Pinch of fresh coarse ground black peppercorns.
1 very large flat bottom skillet (copper core, non-teflon preferred)
1 Pyrex baking dish (large)
Season the flank steak with the salt and pepper, rubbing it vigorously into the meat. Let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Cook stuffing as indicated on box (or you can make your own stuffing if you are in the mood using any sage based recipe found online.)
Brown steak on both sides over very high heat for 1 min per side.
Transfer steak to Pyrex baking dish. Score the meat using a very sharp knife diagonally in both directions, on both sides (X pattern). Spread stuffing over one side of the entire steak.
Roll the steak up as much as possible, with opening facing bottom of Pyrex dish to ensure it doesn't come unrolled (you can also use 3 wooden toothpicks or metal skewers to hold it in place, or bakers rope and tie around on both ends and center)
Bake @ 350 F (177 C) for 30 minutes, or until center is a warm pink color throughout.
Remove from oven and let stand 7 minutes. Cut into disks using very sharp knife. Serve with a Bleu Cheese side salad and mashed/baked potatoes of your choosing and a glass of fine red wine (or milk if you don't want/can't have alcohol. Enjoy.

First off, this is not a troll post, but rather a simple yet good quick "recipe" for breakfast that even the cooking impaired can use. You will require a toaster (NOT toaster oven), Australian Toaster Biscuits (Forget what the brand name is, haven't gotten them in a while, you can get them from Safeway or other common grocery stores), and sliced cheese, preferably cheddar. Toast the toaster biscuits to a nice brown. While they are toasting, get out a slice of the cheese and remove the corners (they won't melt and will just get in the way). When toasting is done, put the cheese in between and press together hard for about ten seconds; this accelerates the melting. Enjoy while running out the door

ok not much of a recipe but damn good and easy, sour cream and onion chips with whipped cream on top don't knock it till you try it
Warning: too much of this will result in your ass growing much larger then you would prefer

Southwest Burger (Serves 4)
1 Lb Ground Beef
1 Jalapeno Pepper
1 1/2 Red Onion
1 Bell Pepper
8 Strips of Bacon (Thick Cut Perfered)
4 Slices of Pepperjack Cheese
Lettuce
1 Tomato
BBQ Sauce
4 Large Kaiser Rolls
1. Start by chopping the jalapeno, the bell pepper and the half of the onion into little chunks. Then, mix them into the ground beef.
2. Sepperate the 1Lb mass of ground beef into 4 different burgers.
3. Take a rather large pan and lightly coat the bottom of it with olive oil, and begin to cook the burgers.
4. In a seperate pan, begin to cook your bacon.
5. Chop the remaining onion in half, and cut one of the halves into chunks that suit you for sauteing. Before they are done add in a bit of worcester sauce.
6. Slice the tomato as well as the remaining half of the onion and tear off some lettuce leaves.
7. Arrange the burger as follows: Bottom slice of roll, burger, 1 slice of pepperjack cheese, the sauteed onions, 2 slices of bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, BBQ sauce, top slice of roll.
Forgot to mention that you should deseed the bell peppers. Deseeding the jalapeno is optional.

if you wanna be white-trash/collegestudent-esque with it, bag-o-ramen, instead of all the water required, crack an egg in it when you boil or nuke it in the microwave, totally simple and simple minded, but when you're on a budget and start to realize that the christians had it one letter off and it's "RAmen" not "Amen", it's good to mix the noodly goodness up a bit, you can also not even boil it, just crack an egg the bag, microwave, and GO!
jailhouse soup is another thing to do, two things of ramen, preferably chicken, one lemon, half a bottle, a large bottle, very large like half a bottle of some amor hot sauce (some straight outta Tj stuff, probably not easy to get unless you're near the border, the classic kind, not the chamoy or lime) Boil it with the hot sauce in it, slice the lime, squeeze all the juice in, add whatever meat you got in the house, unless it's ground beef, thats a bad idea, and boil away, it's good for being on a budget, or not having anything in the house. Some veggies always go good in it as well.
We used to make that all the time when i was living at my buddy ron's house, very simple, very free form, you just kinda create off of the basic recipe as you go, be free with it. Very i'm poor-esque, and tasteless in comparison to some of the more "upper class" recipes submitted here, but it's damned good eating when you're broke as hell.
Rahja, good recipe, i've done something similar before, steaks are always a great thing to cook with, and a flank steak isn't too damned expensive either in comparison to some other meats, fairly reasonable and always a good choice.
Another good thing to try is stuffed pheasant or some horse steak or a good cut of deer for those of you have some extra cash and don't have one of those "that's gross a horse" mindsets. Horse is great to cook with actually, like a good beef steak but leaner and much more tender.
That's right i said it, from whitetrash i'm broke recipes to the higher class i own a yacht cuisine, shows that even people like me can have alot of kindof hidden laers to themselves.

for good soup you must not let the soup boil, but simmer! skim all unwanted suspicious looking foamy stuffs that float ontop of your soup.
once you master making good soup base the rest is easy, think fresh ingredients

of course you gotta skim the floaty things, but when it comes to noodles you gotta kinda boil it, any other soup though, yes, simmer. imo.

don't boil the noodles in the soup ...
boil/cook noodles in another pot with fresh boil water, drain when cooked, put cooked drained noodles over running cold water, this will prevent the noodles from cooking any further from the heat. (pinches of salt and oil in the noodle water is a good idea)
then you pour the soup in a bowl with the cooked noodles with what ever ingredients you desire.

omg, Joe. for anytype of noodle soup dish thing, no one boil the noodle in the soup. except instant noodle ... lol , then again you don't boil that in real soup, just water + seasoning

Apple Tart Fine
Ingredients:
Premade Shortcrust Pastry/Prepare your Own
3-4 Apples(1 per tart)
A small amount of butter
1Tbsp Sugar per tart
Badly Written How-To Guide
Roll out pastry to the size of a SMALL plate.
Prick all over using a fork.
Peel,core and thinly slice the apples.
Lay in a neat overlapping circle,finishing with 2 slices in the center.
Melt butter and brush lightly over the whole tart.
Sprinkle sugar evenly over the tart.
Bake at 200 Degrees until golden brown.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Yum.

This is very good and very easy.
Spinach Stuff (Didn't think of a name)
Ingredients:
- 1 bag of spinach
- 1 green onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 lime
- 2-3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2-1 tsp red pepper flakes
Directions:
1. In a medium pan coat with olive oil. Add chopped green onions and garlic. Saute until golden brown.
2. Add spinach, cover and let cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Add freshly squeezed lime juice, salt, red pepper flakes and stir.
4. Remove from heat and enjoy.
